Ferrari Testarossa

The Ferrari Testarossa has been elevated in recent times from being remembered as the car in Miami Vice to a classic in its own right.

The car shown was in very good condition overall, but had suffered corrosion issues in the sill areas. We therefore carried out a localised repair to the sills avoiding the need for a complete repaint.

Classic Aston Martin DB2 front end repaint

The Aston Martin DB2 tends to suffer from bonnet fatigue, This was solved as part of the repaint we undertook.

Different from the typical British Racing Green, this off white really suits this Aston Martin

Ferrari 328 GTS in chiaro blue resprayed

This Ferrari 328 GTS was in for lower door and windscreen surround rust repair.

Whilst on the way through the owner decided that the car would benefit from an engine bay freshen up.

The amount of work involved in the above, although local in and of itself, meant that a full respray was the most economical way forward and this has just been completed.

Normally we would give you a picture of the whole car, but in this case am letting the paint talk for itself.

Lancia Flaminia Touring bodied Convertible total restoration

This is the second Lancia Flaminia Touring Convertible we have restored and we got the work through a  recommendation on the back of the work undertaken on another Flaminia Touring convertible. 

All metal and paint was undertaken by ourselves.

Bristol 407 Saloon repair after accident damage

Being side-swiped by a third-party in any car is traumatic, but when it is your treasured Bristol 407 it must seem doubly bad.

We often undertake insurance work, so should you have the misfortune to be involved in an accident whether at fault or otherwise please contact us. Our work is provably superb and competitively priced.

The Bristol pictured was repaired by making a new door skin as they are not now available, new side locker for spare wheel and numerous other parts were repaired. 

A partial respray was conducted so matching older paint was critical. Another oft forgotten skill for work such as this.

Bristol 405 Drophead body off restoration

Extensive bodywork restoration undertaken on this handsome and rare Bristol.

Mechanical work was in the hands of Spencer Lane-Jones Ltd.

This collaboration has resulted in a superb car that runs wonderfully and it is fair to say is probably in better condition than when it left the factory.

Lotus Ten with Bristol engine stretches its racing legs after a decade of road use

Resurrected after ten years of being off track, but used on road, this Bristol engined Lotus Ten was taken to an AC Owners club sprint in November. 

New harnesses, fire extinguishers, exhaust silencing have been fitted. As they say, racing improves the bread. It certainly did for Lotus. As more racing is undertaken the problems that inevitably show up are being resolved.

Peugeot 504 Convertible by Pininfarina has a bare metal respray

Looking resplendent against the background of a wet A303, this Peugeot 504 Convertible has just had a bare metal respray.

The car spent most of its life in Jersey and being an island, the salty air and narrow roads meant the bodywork was in need of the Mitchell Motors care and attention despite the car being of low mileage.

Although a rare car a grey one is in for paintwork shortly.

Early Range Rover three door gets a full restoration.

One of many early two door Range Rovers, and in fact VELAR's, we have restored, this vehicle is undergoing a total restoration in its original Lincoln green.

Aluminium repairs and repair sections to the like of bottom of door skins were undertaken.

Many difficult to difficult to obtain parts were sourced and repaired.

Restoration of an original AC Cobra 289 in progress.

Really pleased with the the work we have undertaken on the frame of this original AC Cobra 289. Gloss black suits it perfectly.
